Been A "Little" busy!

Ok, I know it's been a while since I posted, but my life has been filled with baseball, preschool graduation, baseball, birthdays, sickness, did I say baseball??? I finally have a few moments to myself to post something. I don't know how you all are soo good at posting all the time. Anywho, life has been very busy here. Katelyn was in baseball for the first time and did soo well. She was the only girl on the team. She was awesome! She was a lot better than most of the boys! She loved it! Mitch is still playing, it is the playoffs, so I'll let you know how he does.

We had Crews preschool graduation and a Mothers day tea and luncheon. I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast. At his graduation, they showed a video of pictures through out the year. Yes I cried! He has changed so much in a year. He wants to be just like his big brothers. We have a problem with him spraying Mitchells body spray on himself. He says he needs to smell good for the ladies. I wonder were he got that idea?? When he sprays it, he sprays so much of it you want to gag, I don't know how he doesn't get sick smelling it. He is so funny with the things he says. He loves the Hulk, power rangers, superman......ect. His favorite thing to do is wrestle with Mitch and Jaden. On Sundays, that is all they do! It can drive a mother crazy!

We have also been fighting the flu here. Mitch stated with it and ended up with an ear infection. Then Kate got it and still has an ear infection. Then I got it and it has taken me two weeks to recover. I had the body aches for 5 days and now am coughing up a lung every night. I am finally starting to feel better, just in time for Brady to get it! It is a nasty bug and like to hang around. The weather here has been cold! It feels like March, not June!!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your summer. I am sooo glad school is out! No more getting up early, homework, ect... The boys had a big end of school party on Wedns. I had 13 boys running around, eating me out of house and home, door bell ditching, playing night games, ect. until 11:00. I was pretty wiped out, but the boys had a great time. I am excited to stay up late and sleep in all summer. Our city does Movies every Friday night in the park for free. It is really fun to take your lawn chairs, blankets, popcorn, candy and sit and watch a movie in the dark. I love summer! It always goes by way too fast. I will try you be better at posting more often, have a great weekend!

CREW'S BIRTHDAY!

Crew turned the big #4 on Saturday! I can't believe my baby is four! After the piano recital, we told him he could pick were we were going for lunch. Where did he want to go??? You guessed it, McDonald's! I threw up a little in my mouth, but quickly remembered this was Crews birthday and I needed to be a good sport. So we took him and even let him play in the disgusting play area. After we went and saw Horten hears a Who. Julie and Stewart came over Sunday for cake and ice cream. Crew was so cute, we got him a little motorcycle bike that he just loves. Everything else had to be power ranger toys. I am savoring every minute with him, he is growing up too fast!

Piano Recital

Saturday morning the boys had their piano recital. They both memorized their pieces and did a fantastic job! They have been taking piano for two years and have come so far in that time. I was soo proud of them. We are sad to say that their piano teacher is quiting to spend more time with her family. We have loved her and the boys have learned so much. We are on the look out for a new piano teacher, so if you know of one please let me know.

Going Private!!

I have decided to go private so if you wish to keep viewing my blog, give me your email address and I will set it all up. I don't like people I don't know checking out my blog!! My niece had someone send a virus all through hers, luckily she has a dad who is a computer whiz and helped her out. I know it's a pain, but I think it is worth it!

Spring Break!

We had a whole week off for spring break, so we decided to go to Utah to visit family and friends. We had a great time. The weather was sooo nice when we were there. On Mon. night we had a big dinner and Easter egg hunt at Aunt Bon Bon's. Steve was nice enough to let all the kids have a ride on Dixie. My kids thought they had died and gone to heaven! Thanks Aunt Bon Bon and Uncle Steve for the fun time! Then on Tues. we went to the Zoo. It was so nice, the weather was sunny and warm and we got to see all the baby animals. The kids had such a fun time. Jaden was sooo excited to see the Tiger that he just had to have a tiger stuffed animal. Crew loved the monkeys! go figure! Of course we had to eat at Big H. on the way home. Yummy! It was really fun to see friends I haven't seen in a long time. It's crazy how time goes by soo fast. WE had a GREAT time, thanks mom and dad for letting us eat you out of house and home!

Easter

It was a beautiful day here on Easter. The Easter Bunny brought WAY too much candy again! I need to remind her that my kids do not like peeps! They threw them all away. I think next year the Easter Bunny is going to come a week later so we can think about the Resurrection more and not so much about the candy. That way it not only saves mom $$$ but we focus on the real meaning of Easter! :)

Finally a NEW post!!

I know it has been a long time, but I just don't take pictures like I used too! Sad to admit, but it's true. The pictures of Kate and her daddy were on Valentines Day. Brady got her some flowers,she was sooo excited! When she saw them she screamed. She was soo happy. It's so fun to see how much she adores her dad! We have been lucky to have Daigen over while his mommy and daddy are in California. He has had all the candy and diet coke that he wanted. We have played outside all night, here is a pictue of him and Mitch watching t.v. We have loved having him here, he is just one of the Cottle boys!
