Halloween

We had a great Halloween. The weather was soo beautiful and warm. David and Jodi came over for chili and corn bread. We love Halloween at the Cottles house. Brady and David took the kids out and Jodi and I stayed at home to greet the children. Mitch and Jaden went with their friends on a scavenger hunt. They had to find certain candies and take pictures of themselves with a mummy, witch, ect... They had a great time and didn't even care that they didn't get a pillow case full of candy. Katelyn was a dead bride and Crew was a pirate. I was my usual old self. My little nursery babies that came to my house didn't recognize me! It was a really fun night.

Mitchells 12th Birthday

On the 30th Mitch turned the big 12. He has been so excited and counting down the days until he gets the Priesthood. For his birthday we had a family dinner and then went to the corn maze. We had a great time at the corn maze. Mitch and I went into the the field of screams for a split second. We walked about 30 yards and decided that we were toooo scared and ran out. Then we came home and had cake and ice cream. He wanted a Dallas Cowboys cake, so I did my darnedest at making one. It was a really fun night. Then this weekend both grandparents came up to be here for him when he received the priesthood. We had a great time with them. We went to see the Bee movie and had a BBQ. Grandpa Cottle brought some salmon which he had caught in Alaska, it was delicious! Sunday was awesome! The spirit was so strong, I was so proud of Mitchell. He is such a good young man. I can't believe he will be going to mutual now! Somebody put the breaks on please, my kids are growing up too fast!!

Missing the Primay program! :(

Today is our wards primary program and Crew and I are at home. He is feeling much better, but still has a cough. I am so sad I am missing it, it is Mitchells last one. He is sooo glad. They all had their parts memorized and looked so cute, I had to take a picture.

Halloween party

Last night we went to a Halloween party and had a great time. Brady insisted he be a swimmer and I the egg. After weeks of trying to figure out how to make an egg costume, I finally came up with one. We had a great time and even won most original costume! Ya baby! In case you can't read what Brady's cape says, it says, Fallopian Swim Team. Needless to say we got a lot of laughs. Sorry, I don't know how to rotate my pictures so they all go the same way. Can anyone tell me how to?? :p

pumpkin patch

Last Thurs. Crew and I went on a field trip for his preschool to the Pumpkin Patch. We were almost there and it started to rain! It was windy and freezing. We had a hay ride in the rain, Crew was not feeling good and trying to make him pick a pumpkin was like pulling teeth without novicane! He then went through a little hay maze and was ready to go home. It would have been really fun if the weather would have been nice and if Crew would have felt good. We were supposed to have a picnic lunch after, but we were so cold and our hands were so numb, we just came home. Only to find out the next day Crew would have a fever of 103.8 and coughing like a seal. Yep, you guessed it, he got croup!! After two nights in the bathroom with a steam shower going and then going outside, I took him to the doctor. He has to be on a steroid for 3 days. Today he is much better but still coughing, hence that is why I am not at church at the moment! It's been a great week, I felt like I had a new born for a few days! (lack of sleep)
